Newborn session with a chatty toddler! :)

I love the simplicity of home newborn sessions 💜

This one was holds a special space —it was my first newborn shoot after having my own baby. I had done a maternity session for this lovely family at Joo Chiat a few months ago, and when they confirmed the newborn session, I was very excited—but also a nervous wreck.

Newborn sessions take time, and I had never been away from my baby for that long. The mom in me was anxious while the photographer in me was planning every detail.

And this is where my village showed up.
My wonderful friends took turns caring for my little one, keeping her entertained, and even brought me a hot, home-cooked lunch. When I walked in after nearly five hours, I found them all surrounding my baby, trying to make her smile.

I’ll never forget that moment.
